ELLEN IS A CERTIFIED TRX TRAINING AND SCHWINN CYCLING CLASSIC INSTRUCTOR. OVER THE LAST THREE YEARS, SHE HAS BEEN FOCUSING ON HER OWN YOGA PRACTICE and evolving herself physically. SHE HAS COMPLETED AND IS NOW A 200 HR REGISTERED YOGA TEAHCER (RYT) FROM YOGA ON THE LAKE IN KOHLER, WISCONSIN. SHE LOVES BRINGING WHAT SHE HAS LEARNED FROM HER YOGA PRACTICE TO HER EVERYDAY LIFE OFF THE MAT, AS WELL AS APPLYING YOGA BREATHING TECHNIQUES TO HER OTHER WORKOUT PRACTICES MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN SPORTS PERFORMANCE AND THE DAILY GRIND. SHE LOVES NOTHING MORE THAN DELIVERING CHALLENGING AND FRESH INDOOR WORKOUT EXPERIENCES LEAVING YOU EXITING SOEL FEELING MORE POWERFUL, AMBITIOUS AND MOTIVATED THAN WHEN YOU ARRIVED.
CHRIS STARTED HER PERSONAL YOGA PRACTICE IN 2000. AS WITH MOST PEOPLE, SHE CAME TO THE PRACTICE FOCUSING ONLY ON THE PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF YOGA, BUT SOON LEARNED THAT THERE ARE ALSO MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL BENEFITS. YOGA BRINGS ABOUT A GREAT DEAL OF SELF - AWARENESS THROUGH THE PHYSICAL PRACTICE. THIS AWARENESS ALLOWS US TO SLOW DOWN OUR DISTRACTED NATURE AND LEARN TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT. THE RESULT IS A SENSE OF CALMNESS AND OVERALL HAPPINESS.
AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF PRACTICE, CHRIS EXPANDED HER PRACTICE BY BECOMING A CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER (CYT) THROUGH MIDWEST POWER YOGA IN 2009. CHRIS BELIEVES THAT ALL PEOPLE CAN PRACTICE YOGA, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR PHYSICAL ABILITY BY LISTENING TO THEIR OWN BODIES AND PRACTICING AT A LEVEL THAT BRINGS STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY AND OVERALL WELLBEING. CHRIS TEACHES ALL LEVELS OF YOGA; INCLUDING VINYASA, HATHA, YIN, RESTORATIVE AND PADDLE BOARD YOGA. SHE INSTRUCTS GROUPS IN HEALTHY EATING FOLLOWING THE BOOK "40 DAYS TO ENLIGHTED EATING" WRITTEN BY ELISE CANTRELL FROM KOHLER, WISCONSIN.
CHRIS IS A CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER (CYT 200) AND A REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER (RYT). SHE ALSO HOLDS A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE FROM SOUTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY. HER EXPERIENCE IN THIS HEALTH FIELD COMPLEMENTS HER KNOWLEDGE IN TEACHING HEALTHY LIFESTYLE TO OTHERS.
CHRIS LIVES IN PLYMOUTH, WI WITH HER HUSBAND. SHE HAS THREE CHILDREN. SHE ENJOYS ALL VARIETIES OF OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES INCLUDING RUNNING, BIKING, HIKING, CROSS COUNTRY SKIING, FISHING AND PADDLE BOARDING. HER FAVORITE THING TO DO IS SPEND TIME WITH HER FAMILY, FRIENDS AND HER DOG.

tami resides iN Elkhart lake with her husband, matt and her two sons, tyler and levi. tami has always been an active person interested in fitness. She is a graduate of kohler high school and holds a bachelor's of science degree in exercise leadership from Concordia university - Wisconsin. she is also a mad dogg athletics certified spinning instructor, ace certified personal trainer, trx suspension & rip training instructor, and American red cross cpr/aed certified.
tami has been participating in indoor cycling classes since the 1990s. it was through these classes that she started mountain bike racing and then triathlons. tami credits her indoor cycling classes for helping her become the triathlete she is today. she completed her first triathlon in 2000 and since has completed in numerous "shorter" triathlons and 13 ironman distance triathlons (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) qualifying and competing two times in the ironman world championship in Kailua - kona, Hawaii (2010 and 2011). She has also qualified twice for the boston marathon, running it in 2005.
tami is passionate about fitness and encourages others to just give it a try. you never know what you are capable of if you don't put yourself out there. the goal of her cycling classes is for you to walk away feeling accomplished, spent and reenergized.
Emily originally came to yoga to seek relief from chronic back pain. Not only did yoga help strengthen and alleviate her back pain, it also brought on a sensation of openness and healing with her mind and spirit. After many years of practice, Emily offers private instruction as well as studio instruction at SOEL. Emily focuses on proper alignment within the postures or asanas. Her instruction is challenging, calm and sincere. Styles of yoga taught by Emily are Vinyasa, a sequence practice which connects movement with breath; alignment Yoga, a series of static poses; and Power Flow Yoga.
Emily's teaching approach presents yoga as a never ending path of possibilities for self-realization, awareness, and growth. She firmly believes that yoga creates the power to open the mind through work within your own strength and mobilization of your body; increasing our quality of life and reminds us to live in the moment.
Emily completed her yoga teacher training from the Yoga Garden of San Francisco, California; with 3 years of teaching under her belt. She is certified in CPR/AED and has a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Food and Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Having a wellness-oriented background compliments her yoga practice and assists her as an instructor by promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
KRISTIE WAS BORN AND RAISED RIGHT HERE IN ELKHART LAKE. SHE STARTED HER YOGA PRACTICE ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO WHEN AFTER FIFTEEN YEARS OF DANCING SHE STILL NEEDED AN OUTLET FOR MOVEMENT. YOGA FULFILLED THE INITIAL NEED OF ATHLETIC MOVEMENT AND SOON MORPHED INTO A LIFE CHANGING PRACTICE. HAVING DEALT WITH BOUTS OF DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY FOR MANY YEARS, YOGA BROUGHT AN UNEXPECTED SENSE OF CALM TO HER LIFE WITH USE OF BREATH, MOVEMENT, ACCEPTANCE AND ENJOYING EVERY MOMENT YOU ARE EXPERIENCING.
KRISTIE WENT THROUGH HER 200 HOUR RYT TRAINING IN 2014 WITH YOGOONE STUDIO IN CEDARBURG, WISCONSIN. TRAINED IN THE STYLE OF VINYASA FLOW, SHE LOVES TEACHING BASIC, MIXED LEVEL, POWER CLASSES, AS WELL AS PRIVATE LESSONS. KRISTIE LOOKS FORWARD TO BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS IN THE REGION AND TEACHING THE BENEFITS OF MINDFUL YOGA.
